Qualifications

If located in the State of Montana Security Guard Licensure is required within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor security tech including cameras and access control.
Ensure security equipment functions and is maintained.
De-escalate conflicts using verbal/non-verbal strategies.
Intervene to protect safety in violent patient situations and use restraints if necessary.
Ensure HIPAA compliance when reporting incidents and disclose minimum information.
Respond to bomb threats and suspicious packages per protocol.
Participate in drills such as infant abduction and active shooter scenarios.
Conduct safe searches of patients and narcotics searches with privacy protections.
Perform safety inspections of walking surfaces and fire extinguishers.
Enforce parking regulations to ensure safety and access.
Collaborate with HR and law enforcement on investigations.
