Responsibilities

• Oversees the system for identification and analysis of loss or injury exposure and incident reporting.
• Provides statistical analysis on risk areas to identify, evaluate, and reduce incidents.
• Coordinates risk education and continuing education for staff.
• Acts as a liaison for legal questions and advisory in risk matters for clinical staff.
• Facilitates RCA projects for high-risk issues and reviews liability records for claims.
• Coordinates legal processes for statements and subpoenas; supports patient grievance processes.
