Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a Manager of Risk Management at Summerlin Hospital to support the Patient Safety-Risk Management Program. This leadership role requires collaboration with the Director and hospital leadership to advance risk reduction and safety initiatives.

You will oversee compliance with Joint Commission standards and state regulations, leveraging hospital software and standard MS Office tools to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience or risk management experience required; acute care experience preferred.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and hospital software applicable to risk management.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards and Nevada acute care regulations is required.

• Assist the Director of Risk Management in leading the hospital’s Patient Safety-Risk Management Program.
• Serve as a key member of the hospital leadership team to support risk reduction and patient safety goals.
