Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Professional Practice Evaluation Specialist to support patient safety, quality, and peer review processes. You will coordinate review activities, maintain records, and ensure timely communication across safety events and regulatory standards.

Collaborating with Medical Staff Office (MSO), quality, safety, and operations, you will help advance a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while traveling across supported OSF locations within the area

Qualifications

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate degree
• Experience: 2 years of healthcare experience including participation in quality and safety committee or related investigations
• Other Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail oriented
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced degree; experience with event reporting systems and safety investigations; Licensure/ Certification: RN license and CPPS/CPHQ

• Coordinate review activities related to safety events and peer review
• Maintain records and ensure timely communication and follow through
• Support peer review governance and identify system-level safety opportunities
• Collaborate with medical staff leadership, MSO, quality, safety, legal and operations to improve safety culture
