Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Professional Practice Evaluation Specialist to support patient safety, quality, and peer review processes. You will coordinate review activities, maintain records, and ensure timely communication across safety events and regulatory standards.

You will work with the MSO, quality, safety, legal and operations teams to drive system-level safety improvements and a culture of accountability within several OSF locations.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree is required.
• Experience: 2 years of healthcare experience with quality and safety committee work or safety event investigations.
• Other skills: strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and detail-oriented abilities with solid Microsoft software proficiency.
• Preferred: Advanced degree; experience with event reporting systems and safety investigations; RN licensure and safety QA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate review activities for safety events and peer reviews.
• Maintain records and ensure timely communication and follow-through.
• Collaborate with Medical Staff Office, quality, safety, legal and operations teams.
• Support governance processes and identify system-level safety opportunities.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
