QUALIFICATIONS

• Must demonstrate a helpful attitude and ability to accept direction.
• Must be reliable.
• Must be carefully groomed.
• Must be 18 years or older and possess a High School diploma or equivalent within One (1) year of employment.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs observation services for specific assigned patient(s).

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

• Exemplifies good customer service.
• Regular reliable attendance.
• Ability to get along with others.
• Demonstrates proficient use of email.
• Assists patients as directed by primary nurse.
• Reports unusual patient conditions/occurrences to staff nurse.
• Follows Standard Precaution guidelines.
• Demonstrates support for nursing and supervisory staff.
• Ensures patient safety by utilizing side rails and other precautions as indicated.
• Maintains confidentiality.
