Job summary

Cameron Health's Cameron Orthopedics department seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) for a 1.0 FTE, day shifts. This full-time role offers bi-weekly schedules with no weekends or holidays and is benefit-eligible.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited nursing or medical assistant program, hold Indiana RN/LPN license (or CMA/RAM), be CPR certified within 6 months, and proficiently use EPIC for patient data entry

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing or medical assistant program.
• Current Indiana RN/LPN license; CMA or RAM certification.
• CPR certification within 6 months.
• Familiar with nursing theory and pharmacology basics.
• Proficient in EPIC and patient data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as directed by the provider using the nursing process.
• Performs patient access functions; registers patients and collects vitals.
• Prepares clinic areas for patient care and maintains supplies.
• Discharges patients with prescriptions/instructions and documents in the chart.
• Schedules surgeries or referrals and assists with procedures as directed.
