Advocate Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Safety Attendant at Atrium Health Kings Mountain in North Carolina. The role requires 24 hours per week with a 7P-7A schedule and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, documenting observations, and handing off pertinent information to the RN to ensure a safe, ligature-free environment. The position emphasizes collaboration with the nursing team, adherence to policies, and professional patient interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• CPI certification required prior to conducting patient observation.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe environment and stay with patient to observe as directed by RN.
• Document information required during patient observation.
• Perform handoff communication with RN about pertinent patient information.
• Assist nursing to maintain a ligature-resistant environment as appropriate.
• Notify licensed nurse of immediate patient safety and care needs.
• Foster positive, professional communication between patients and staff.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures.
