Job summary

Children's Colorado in Aurora, CO is seeking a PRN Room Service Coordinator to act as a liaison between patients, families, CHCO staff, and visitors for Food Services. You will enter patient meal selections, communicate with Dietitians, and support operations across Room Service, Production Staff, and Supervisors in their absence.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely meal delivery, and collaboration with clinical teams to meet dietary orders and allergies while maintaining exceptional customer

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three years of relevant work experience in lieu of a diploma accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical nutrition and care team with special diets and restrictions.
• Run patient tray carts to ensure on-time delivery of meals.
• Communicate with management for service recovery or safety concerns.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure proper meal preparation.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families and staff.
• Enter patient meal selections into the Food and Nutrition system and verify orders.
