The Patient Representative acts as an extension of the provider in the Cardiology Department. As such, the Patient Representative must at all times exemplify customer service skills consistent with that of the department. In addition, to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care, and follow-up care, it is extremely important that accurate demographic information be obtained from patients at every visit. Responsible for patient scheduling, preregistration, registration and insurance authorization.
