Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking a Patient Relations Specialist to join a growing team across multi-state locations. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional patient service, scheduling and check-in/out duties, and maintaining a warm, confidential environment.

Knowledge of EMR and scheduling software is important, along with a professional demeanor and team collaboration. The position requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and prior healthcare or patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Healthcare or patient relations experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, warm demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer service support to patients.
• Schedules appointments.
• Handles patient check-in and check-out procedures.
• Performs scanning and filing tasks.
• Collects payments from patients.
• Maintains a clean and professional workspace, including the waiting area.
• Responds to patient phone calls and confirms scheduled appointments.
• Provides assistance with charting and confirms patient insurance information.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and ensures an outstanding patient experience.
• Performs duties to maintain patient flow and supports additional tasks as assigned.
