Job summary

DHR Health is seeking a Patient Registration Representative to manage registrations and pre-registrations across hospital and offsite locations. You will answer questions about procedures and charges, collect demographics, insurance, and payments, and support efficient patient flow.

Required is a high school diploma with strong written and verbal communication skills; familiarity with medical terminology is preferred and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registers patients for in-house and offsite services.
• Answers patient questions about scheduled procedures and related charges.
• Obtains demographic information and insurance details for accurate registration.
• Reviews and secures necessary financial information and eligibility.
• Manages cash handling, deposits and receipts with accuracy.
• Schedules appointments and enters orders in the system.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and accurate records.
