Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior healthcare registration experience preferred.
• 1 year of medical office, hospital or medical insurance related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter information for 50+ data fields accurately.
• Use scripting when obtaining information from patients or representatives, in person or via phone.
• Provide positive customer service face-to-face, by phone and email.
• Explain and complete required facility forms before obtaining and witnessing signatures.
• Handle payment collection activities, including cash handling.
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality goals.
• May work edits/errors from designated work queues or reports.
• Perform other duties as required.
