Job summary

Olympic Medical Center in Washington's North Olympic Peninsula seeks a Registration Clerk to greet patients, collect demographics, explain policies, collect payments, and ensure smooth flow through registration. You will enter data into the EHR, coordinate with Central Access and Clinic Back Office to deliver a positive patient experience.

High School diploma or GED is required. Customer Service or hospitality experience is preferred; knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors to clinics with compassion and empathy.
• Collect and accurately enter patient demographic data into the EHR.
• Explain policies and procedures necessary for registration to patients.
• Collect copays and payments according to OMC finance policies.
• Maintain a smooth flow of patients through registration and inform patients of delays.
• Coordinate with Central Access staff and Clinic Back Office to ensure a positive patient experience.
