TEKsystems seeks a compassionate Patient Access Representative to support a busy pediatric healthcare organization in St. Louis.

You will handle scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and referral processing while assisting families with billing questions. The role requires excellent communication, ability to manage 65–80 calls per day, and experience with electronic scheduling systems and patient reminders.

Qualifications

• High-volume inbound/outbound call experience (65 to 80 calls per day).
• Patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare customer service experience.
• Insurance verification and referral processing experience.
• Knowledge of medical billing practices and financial assistance programs.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to support a busy pediatric healthcare organization. This role is responsible for scheduling appointments, patient registration, insurance verification, referral processing, and answering billing-related questions while providing exceptional service to patients and families. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
