Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ is seeking a full-time Registrar to gather patient demographics, verify insurance, collect payments, and register patients into the system. You will be the first contact and represent the organization with a positive, service-oriented demeanor.

The role requires 1 year of customer service experience, strong communication, and basic computer skills. Epic experience is highly preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday with dayshift hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service in a professional setting preferred.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and enters patient demographic information into the hospital information system.
• Verifies benefits and obtains required authorization.
• Obtains co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance and deposit amounts.
• Performs accurate and thorough registrations.
• Acts as first point of contact providing excellent customer service.
