Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Patient Registration Representative to be the first point of contact for patients across our network. You will handle patient registration, verify insurance, and collect payments, while advocating for patients and supporting clinical and non-clinical teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and in writing.

Role Overview

As a Patient Registration Rep, you are the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. You'll manage patient registration, insurance verification, and cash collections, while advocating for patient needs. Your work directly supports clinical and non-clinical teams, contributing to a smooth and compassionate healthcare journey for every patient.

Required

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and in writing.

Preferred

• One (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, or insurance verification in a healthcare setting.
• EPIC training or experience.
