Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking a Patient Registration Representative to guide patients and families through the registration process, ensuring clarity about financial responsibilities and rights during care journeys.

You will enter demographic data into the ADT system, verify insurance, obtain signatures, and ensure CMS billing requirements and EMTALA procedures are followed with accuracy and care in a high-volume hospital setting.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year in a hospital patient registration or related revenue cycle role.
• Experience requesting and processing financial payments.
• Understanding of insurance policies and ability to verify coverage.
• Basic mathematics for payment calculation and accounting basics.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CMS billing requirements and EMTALA procedures.
• Familiarity with charity care programs.
