Kaiser Permanente Northwest in Mt. Talbert Medical Offices, OR, seeks an on-site Registration/Cashier to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and collect payments. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with payer rules.

Formación

• Six (6) months health care financial OR six (6) months cash handling OR six (6) months customer service experience in high volume environment.
• Two (2) years of keyboarding/typing and navigating multiple computer applications in Windows.
• Current KP Coalition employees have this requirement waived.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients for medical services in clinic, hospital, ambulatory, or emergency settings.
• Handle payments and cash, verify insurance, and maintain billing accuracy per policies.
• Take messages and schedule appointments per guidelines; refer to other departments as needed.
• Explain and obtain signatures on regulatory forms; ensure compliance with payer requirements.
