Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in customer service or related role using computer and phone.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends or holidays as needed.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, collect demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility/benefits and enter data in computer systems in real time.
• Process referrals, pre-certifications and pre-authorizations per plan requirements.
• Collect co-pays and discuss patient financial obligations; identify past due balances.
