Job summary

You will interview patients and families to gather demographics, insurance and consent data, escort and direct patients, and assist with billing questions and financial counseling. The role supports the POS team and collaborates with physician offices to ensure accurate information exchange.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical setting with inpatient or outpatient admitting.
• Experience with patient registration, financial counseling, insurance, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and front line customer service at Registration/Admissions.
• Interview patients and families to collect demographics, consents, and required information.
• Assist with billing inquiries, financial assistance, and payment arrangements.
