Job summary

Columbus Regional Health is seeking a Patient Registrar – Scheduling Clerk for the on-site Patient Registration and Scheduling team. This role is the first point of contact for patients, visitors and vendors, handling check-in, scheduling, and cash collection with a patient-centric approach.

The position is 32 hours per week, with a 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM shift and weekend/holiday rotation. A high school diploma or GED is required; lifting up to 50 pounds may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication are essential.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors and vendors at hospital entry, department check-in locations and on phones.
• Assist with preregistration, admission, appointment check-in and scheduling processes.
• Handle cash collections and support scheduling with attention to patient experience.
