Job summary

Columbus Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Registrar – Scheduling Clerk to provide a professional, compassionate first contact for patients, visitors and vendors at hospital entry, department check-in locations and on phones.

You will handle scheduling, preregistration, check-in, cash collections and routine communications, working a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on-site schedule with full-time nights and a rotating holiday/weekend requirement. An HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors at hospital entry and direct to the correct desk.
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling and check-in.
• Assist with preregistration, registration, and cash handling as needed.
