Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time Registrar to support patient enrollment and scheduling at Berlin, NJ. You will gather demographic info, verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and collect payments, acting as the first contact with patients and coordinating with billing and insurance.

The role requires 1 year of customer service, strong communication, basic typing and familiarity with Epic. Flexible hours include mornings and alternating weekends; generous benefits available.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service in a professional setting preferred.
• Medical office or admittance experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic typing, computer and word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter demographic, financial, insurance and clinical information into the computer system; verify completeness and accuracy.
• Obtain signatures on required documents for consent and regulatory paperwork.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance and deposits; liaise with billing as needed.
• Identify referrals and payment options for financial assistance.
• Provide general office support (phones, scheduling, filing).
