Columbus Regional Healthcare System is seeking a Full-Time Patient Registrar to register, admit and pre‑admit patients during a 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM shift with rotating weekends and holidays. You will coordinate with Nursing Supervisors for room placement and manage initial patient information and routing.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic math skills and proficiency with basic office equipment and computer systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with basic office machines and a basic computer.
• Basic math skills.

Responsabilités

• Registers, admits and pre-admits patients.
• Contacts Nursing Supervisor for room placement.
• Maintains medical records with security and confidentiality.
• Prepares charge information and estimates final bills.
• Verifies insurance benefits and prior authorization requirements.
