Formación

• 1-2 years of referral coordination experience is required. Must include HMO experience.
• Computer literacy with strong keyboard skills and experience with electronic medical records systems.
• Experience in communicating with patients is preferred.
• Background in medical terminology, orthopedics and ability to analyze medical scheduling needs preferred.
• Familiarity with health insurance plans and benefit eligibility processes preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; pleasant demeanor and professional appearance.

Responsabilidades

• Manage external referral process and daily reconciliation with required information and documents.
• Answer telephone calls and assist with scheduling and other needs based on call type.
• Participate in clinic and market education, training, and meetings as needed.
• Communicate with outside physician offices to clarify referral issues.
