PayZen is seeking a proactive Customer Service Representative to help patients navigate payment plans and resolve billing questions. You will mainly handle inbound calls and emails, with some outbound support, advocating for a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include educating patients on digital payment options, enrolling them in payment plans, and collaborating with providers to resolve issues. This is a remote, startup-friendly role with a mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or financial services.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Comfortable working remotely with reliable communication.
• Adaptable to evolving tools and processes in a startup.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails about billing and payment plans.
• Educate patients on digital payment options and PayZen platform.
• Assist with enrollment in payment plans and resolve overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with providers to resolve issues related to patient payment plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and patient experience.
