Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a specialty pharmacy program. You will make outbound calls to grow the patient population and educate patients about available services, ensuring you understand each patient’s conditions by reviewing EMR notes.

You'll identify medications needing special handling and communicate the advantages of the Shields Partner Pharmacy program to eligible patients, while coordinating with care teams to support safe, effective therapy.

Qualifications

• Active national pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or NHA/ExCPT).
• 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Requirements

• Ability to work shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:30 PM ET


• Strong verbal communication and phone skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior customer service or outbound call experience


• Ability to build rapport quickly with patients over the phone
