The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end administration of client eligibility and enrollment for the University of Nebraska Medical Center ( UNMC ) Ryan White programs. This role serves as a critical link to ensuring that individuals with HIV receive continuous access to core medical and support services while maintaining compliance with HRSA / HAB federal guidelines. Key duties include conducting comprehensive eligibility assessments, adjudicating applications, The Benefits Specialist also acts as an advocate, educating, assessing and assisting patients with identifying state, federal and private insurance options and ensuring the Ryan White program remains a payor of last resort.
