Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Specialist, Patient Registration to ensure a smooth transition for new patients to home/AIS services and to coordinate with sales for onboarding. You will gather necessary documentation and support financial aspects of enrollment while collaborating with care teams.

The role emphasizes patient experience, cross-functional teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient’s upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed.
• Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management.
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
