Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Specialist, Patient Registration to guide new patients through onboarding and coordinate with sales, pharmacy and nursing to transition to home/AIS. You will prepare referrals and ensure all onboarding steps are completed for a smooth transition.

You will also secure upfront payment options, assist patients with financial resources, and support denial management while upholding high service standards and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience required.
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of quality focus.
• Strong customer service and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient’s upfront payment and guides financial assistance options.
• Supports follow-up to ensure clean claims and denial management.
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments.
