Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous close monitoring for behavioral and protective observation.
• Monitor patients with suicidal precautions, aggression, elopement risks, or under influence.
• Utilize observer in extraordinary circumstances when routine interventions fail to ensure safety.

Summary

Functions of the Patient Observer are to provide continuous close monitoring for behavioral management or protective management observation. The following behavioral patients may require a patient observer: suicidal precautions, suspicious/aggressive/threatening behavior, elopement precautions, psychiatric patients, patients under influence of alcohol or other substances. A patient observer may also be utilized in extraordinary circumstances, when routine interventions do not ensure patient safety.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $22.59 Based On Experience
