LifeBridge Health’s Carroll Hospital in Westminster, MD, seeks an RN to provide nursing care using the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, monitor patient progress, and revise care plans as needed. You will prepare patients for discharge and support families with education and resources.

Required: Maryland RN license or eligibility, NIHSS within 6 months, ACLS within 18 months, BLS; experience under one year preferred.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• NIHSS certification required within 6 months.
• ACLS certification required within 18 months.
• BLS certification required.

Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Nursing Dept. The RN has responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The RN manages care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process utilizing independent judgment, collaboration and communication with all team members including ancillary and support services. The RN provides and delegates patient care activities based upon patient needs and team skills/abilities and supervises the delivery of care by team. The RN evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, and as needed, revised the plan of care. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.

• Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license


• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale


• Basic Life Support


• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

Credential Note: NIHSS is required within 6 months, ACLS is required within 18 months

Pay Range: $37.15 to $58.33 Based On Experience
