Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a Patient Observation Assistant to monitor and report on patient conditions under RN direction at LVHN Schuylkill, Pottsville, PA. Both full-time and part-time shifts are available; online applications are accepted.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour with benefits for full-time staff. The role requires a high school diploma and CPR/BLS-HCP certification within 30 days, plus the ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification required within 30 days of hire, if required at facility.
Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
One to two years of previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient's condition and behavior at all times.
Completes observation reports at established interval.
Remains at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved.
Assists in calming and reorienting patient and reporting safety hazards to nursing staff.
