Job summary

Kingman Healthcare is seeking a Continuous Observer to provide constant patient monitoring under the direction of a registered nurse, ensuring safety and comfort during tests and transportation.

The role requires one-on-one observation for high-risk patients, prompt response to needs, and adherence to policies. Documentation of patient behaviors is required, with a focus on privacy and respectful care throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Respect patient rights, privacy and dignity.
• Good verbal communication, hearing, sight and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous one-on-one observation to patients who are confused or at risk.
• Assist with feeding, mobility, and accompanying patients during tests or procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and document patient behaviors and actions.
• Stay with patient at all times and respond promptly to needs per policy.
