Compass Group USA is hiring for a Patient Observation Assistant (full time and part time) in Wichita, KS. The role provides visual and audible observation under a Registered Nurse and unit manager, with training and certifications supported.

The position includes rotating schedules, Monday–Friday plus weekends as needed, and a paid training program. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and customer service experience; CPR/BLS certification is required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification within 30 days.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• One to two years of previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient's condition and behavior at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established interval.
• Remains at the bedside of the patient and responds to needs.
• Escalates safety concerns to nursing staff.
• Assists with patient meals, positioning, and mobility as directed.
• Participates in hand-offs and ensures patient safety.
