Job summary

Baptist Nassau Location in Jacksonville, FL seeks a full-time Nutrition Coordinator to join our Patient Food Service team. Working 12-hour shifts (2.5 days on, 2.5 days off) with rotating weekends, you will help ensure meals are accurate and delivered on time to support patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include assisting patients with menu selections, coordinating with nursing, and assembling and delivering trays.

Qualifications

• Assists patients in understanding menu selections and coordinates with nursing to ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Supports patient satisfaction and works with a multidisciplinary team to improve care/services.
• Manages tray tickets and assembles meals accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in understanding menu selections and ensure nutrition needs are met.
• Obtain preferences and modify tray identifiers accordingly.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to patient rooms at assigned times.
• Communicate issues with caregivers and follow department procedures.
• Help determine menu alternatives for dietary restrictions.
