Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs routine Dietary meal service tasks for patients, cafeteria and catering in line with policies and health regulations.
• Prepares and assembles food per recipes; monitors food temperatures.
• Stocks patient floor kitchenettes with nourishment and supplies; monitors temperatures on nursing units.
• Serves food with proper portion control and temperature standards.
• Distributes food and trays according to dietary procedures.
• Operates dish machine and supports ware washing tasks.
• Maintains safety, sanitation and security per hospital standards.
• Participates in area meetings and in-services to meet regulatory standards.
