Job summary

Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL is seeking an Ambassador in the Food and Nutrition Services to obtain patient menu selections, assemble and deliver patient trays, and attend to patients’ food needs with a focus on safety and satisfaction.

The Ambassador works under supervision of the Patient Services Manager and Food Service Supervisors, using iPad and Breadbox systems, following AIDET+ and the 4 P’s in every interaction and ensuring adherence to therapeutic diets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0 to < 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients to obtain meal orders using iPad and Breadbox program.
• Follow AIDET+ and the 4 P’s guidelines in interactions with patients and care partners.
• Assemble patient trays according to prescribed diet and patient orders, noting allergies.
• Deliver patient trays on time and maintain hot/cold temperatures during delivery.
• Record pantry refrigerator and freezer temperatures twice daily and act on discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and participate in daily huddles for department operations.
