Responsibilities

• Prepares or directs preparation of food items on assigned/scheduled menus.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, utensils, and storage areas; cleans immediately after use.
• Labels, dates, and stores food items/leftovers after use.
• Maintains proper food temperatures and records as required.
• Assists in inventory and procurement; notifies supervisor of shortages.
• Trains or supervises Nutrition Services staff as needed and acts as a role model.
