Job summary

Banner Health’s Banner Staffing Services-AZ in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Registry/Per Diem food service team member. The role includes food preparation, patient tray-line service, and retail cafe operations at Banner Del Webb Medical Center.

Flexible weekend and night differential options apply as noted in the compensation details. You will support the food service team, manage portions, ensure safety and quality, and assist with catering or events as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests.
• POS (cash register) when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Sets up work stations and prepares foods according to portion controls and quality standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, trays, and cooking utensils; maintains kitchen areas.
• Delivers meals to patient units or supports catering and special events.
• May handle transactions at cash register and assist with cafe operations.
• Maintains temperature logs and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Interacts with hospital staff, patients, and families while upholding sanitation policies.
