Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and deliver patient meal trays, snacks, and floor stock nourishments. You will ensure trays are accurate, appealing, and kept at proper temperatures, while maintaining a clean and stocked trayline area.

You will deliver nourishment to patient care areas and other hospital departments. Education of a high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior patient service experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in patient service preferred.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver patient meal trays, snacks and floor stock nourishments.
• Assure trays are accurate and attractive while maintaining food temperature.
• Set up, clean and restock the patient trayline area.
• Prepare and deliver nourishment to patient care areas and other hospital departments.
