Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1–3 months related experience preferred; 1 year kitchen or food service strongly preferred.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cooking, portioning, and meal preparation.
• Set up trays and serving carts per established procedures.
• Deliver meals to patient units and notify nursing staff.
• Assist with hospital-sponsored catering events.
• Maintain sanitation and safety; report repairs and mop spills.
