Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Food Service Team Member in Chandler, AZ to support our dietary and retail café operations. The role includes food preparation, patient trayline service, care for nourishments, and possible meal deliveries, with strong emphasis on safety and sanitation.

Ideal candidates have hospital food service experience and can follow established procedures while delivering excellent patient and staff service. Flexibility to work varied shifts and catering tasks is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow established policy and procedures and provide customer service.
• Must be able to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests as required.
• POS (cash register) when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up work station and prepare foods and nourishments following procedures and standards.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas; monitor dish machine temperature.
• Maintain par levels and restock items; rotate stock and check expiration dates.
• Record temperatures and report discrepancies to supervisor.
