Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Dietary Aide HCC to assist with food preparation, tray delivery, and meal service for patients/residents. You will support the Dietary Manager in maintaining sanitation, proper food handling, and timely service while providing a warm, patient-centered experience.

Responsibilities include assisting in meal prep, preparing nourishments, recording substitutions, and ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Basic food handling knowledge and safe service procedures.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families and staff in a professional manner.
• Maintaining clean work areas and following sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation and assembly of salads and desserts.
• Deliver trays and meals to patients/residents.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments per guidelines.
• Record substitutions and ensure proper serving of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas and equipment.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
