Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Cook - Dietary Aide HCC to support meal preparation and safe food service for residents. You will assist with meals, prepare nourishments, and ensure foods are served at proper temperatures while following regulatory guidelines.

You will work under the Dietary Manager/Supervisor to maintain nutrition, variety, and quality of life for residents in a healthcare setting. This role emphasizes collaboration with kitchen staff and adherence to infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Mandatory education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• Attend and participate in mandatory in-services.
• Comply with corporate compliance program.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation and between-meal nourishments.
• Serve nourishments per guidelines and deliver trays to residents.
• Clean dining area, kitchen surfaces, and equipment after meals.
• Record temperatures for freezers/walk-ins and monitor food safety.
• Maintain supply stock and assist with storage and handling of foods.
