Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Nutrition Operator at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time role runs 7:00 am to 8:30 pm with variable days and rotating weekends, requiring prior related experience and a commitment to patient meals and service.

You will coordinate patient meal selections, support dietary preferences, and collaborate with nursing to ensure accurate diet prescriptions and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience required.
• Location: Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.

Responsibilities

• Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with allergies, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences when patient inquires.
• Responsive to patients needs at all times; resolves concerns or reports needed assistance to supervisor as appropriate.
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special diets to meet patient needs within diet order guidelines.
• Interacts with nursing to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and met.
• Adheres to facility confidentiality and patients' rights policy per HIPAA.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies.
• Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports as per corporate policies and deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
