Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares, sets, and serves all food as directed ensuring proper temperatures and portion sizes.
• Performs minor food preparation and portioning tasks according to policy.
• Gathers items needed for snacks and breaks and delivers to proper areas.
• Assists in tray assembly and delivers trays to patients per procedures.
• Uses patient identifiers to ensure safety and accuracy of meals.
• Checks trays for nutrition order compliance before delivery.
• Ensures trays are positioned correctly and assists patients with opening tray elements.
• Collects soiled trays and returns them to the kitchen for cleaning.
