Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support patient meals and food service operations in the hospital. The role involves delivering and retrieving patient trays, stocking supplies, operating a POS system, portioning food, and assisting with tray assembly.

Training and experience in customer service or food service are preferred, and on-the-job training will be provided. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. St. Luke's is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
• Customer service and/or food service experience preferred, but not necessary.
• On job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, sets, and serves all food as directed ensuring proper temperatures and portion sizes.
• Performs minor food preparation and portioning tasks in accordance with departmental policy.
• Delivers trays to patients in accordance with established facility and departmental procedures.
• Double checks tray for accuracy and nutrition order compliance prior to delivery.
• Picks up soiled trays and returns trays to kitchen for cleaning and storage.
• Ensures and maintains proper food quality and temperature.
