Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support the hospital food service operations. The role includes preparing and serving meals, stocking supplies, operating the POS system, and assisting with tray assembly and delivery to patients.

Candidates should have or be working toward a high school diploma or GED, with customer service or food service experience preferred. On-the-job training will be provided, and weekend/holiday rotations are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, sets, and serves all food as directed, ensuring proper temperatures and portion sizes.
• Performs minor food preparation and portioning tasks.
• Gathers items for snacks and breaks and delivers to the proper areas.
• Assists in tray assembly and delivers trays to patients.
• Uses patient identifiers to ensure safety and checks nutrition order accuracy.
• Ships trays from kitchen and maintains food quality and temperature.
